The 2023 Chevy Malibu is a mid-size sedan with an eye-catching design and an array of standard features throughout its lineup. The Malibu has four trim levels: LS, RS, LT, and 2LT. The base LS trim is powered by a capable 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The LS trim comes with standard front-wheel drive and 16-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, the LS features a standard 6-speaker audio system and an 8-inch diagonal color touch-screen display.

The RS
The RS trim is also powered by a 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder engine, just like all other 2023 Malibu models. On the exterior, the RS trim boasts standard features such as a dual-outlet exhaust with polished tips, a black grille with chrome surround, a rear spoiler, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and all-season tires.
Inside, the RS trim features an 8-inch diagonal color touch-screen display, power driver seat lumbar control, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and a wrapped steering wheel. Other standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Overall, the RS trim offers a sportier appearance and additional convenience features compared to the base LS trim.
The LT
The LT trim offers standard 17-inch aluminum wheels and LED daytime running lamps. Additionally, the LT trim is available in Midnight, Redline, and Sport editions, which offer unique exterior features and design cues.
The LT trim is also available with a dual-pane power sunroof for an extra touch of luxury. Inside, this Malibu model features standard dual-zone automatic climate control, heated driver and front passenger seats, and rear reading lamps. Overall, the Malibu LT trim offers a balance of style and comfort at a mid-range price point.
The 2LT
The 2LT trim offers a range of premium features. Standard exterior features include 19-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlamps and tail lamps, and a tire inflation kit. The 2LT trim is also available in Sport, Redline, and Midnight editions. Inside, the Malibu 2LT offers a range of luxurious features, including a 120-volt power outlet, a heated steering wheel, and a Bose® premium 9-speaker audio system.
